The Arlington Catholic girls cross country team continued their successful season with a school-best third place finish in Division 5 at the Easter Mass Cross Country Championships in Wrentham on Saturday.
This will mark the second year in a row that the Lady Cougars will be advancing to next week’s Division 2 All State Championships, said Head Coach Jack Dempsey. The state meet will be held in Gardner.
Freshmen sensations Alexandria Kay (Melrose, 14th overall with a season’s best time of 19:44) and Veronica Seguin (Bedford, 19th with a season’s best time of 19:53) led the charge for AC.
