Medford, Malden to Meet for 126th Thanksgiving Football Game

On Thanksgiving the Medford and Malden football teams will take the field against each other for the 126th time. Depending on who you ask, it’s the third oldest high school football rivalry in the country. This year Medford is hosting the annual classic at 10:00AM at Hormel Stadium. The Mustangs haven’t won since defeating the Golden Tornadoes on their home turf in 2006. Malden leads the series with sixty-one wins to Medford’s fifty-four. There have been ten ties.

Tickets will be available at the game for $5. They are $5 for adults and $3 for students if purchased in advance at the main office or athletic office at Medford High School.
