Coakley Begins Push to Earn Spot on Ballot
|Attorney General, Medford Resident Running for Governor
Martha Coakley, currently serving as Massachusetts Attorney General, is seeking to do something a woman has yet to do in this state- win the governorship. In an email to supporters on Tuesday, the Coakley campaign began to push for support in the upcoming Democratic caucuses so Coakley can earn a spot on the ballot for the September primary. She faces competition from other Democrats, including another female candidate, Juliettee Kayyem. Coakley is pictured above (center) with supporters in Boston in October. Courtesy photo.
