Boston Magazine: Choose Medford if You’re Just Starting Out or Can’t Afford Arlington

Boston Magazine’s annual Best Places to Live feature says Medford is a great place for people “just starting out” or for people who “didn’t have the foresight or the cash to buy in ultra-hot Arlington 10 years ago.”

What do you think? Is a city with a median home price of $395,000 really doable for those buying a first home? Also, Boston Magazine touts Medford for its proximity to Arlington and Winchester– live in Medford for the cheap and get your thrills in neighboring towns?
