John Brewer’s Event Raises Money for Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund

A steady stream of fans taking pictures with the 2013 Red Sox World Series trophy and purchasing “Medford Strong” t-shirts last weekend at John Brewer’s Tavern in Malden helped raise approximately $5,000 for the Krystle Campbell scholarship fund at Medford High School. The fundraiser also included raffle prizes such as Red Sox tickets and a baseball autographed by Louis Tiant.

The Krystle Campbell Medford Strong Spirit Award is being given for the first time this year. The award will go to a student athlete/or band member who displays a strong work ethic ,kindness, community spirit and a passion to help others. It will be an annual award.
