Medford Square Accident Snarls Traffic

A fuel truck making the tight turn from the Route 16 exit onto Main Street in Medford Square hit a guard rail this afternoon, snarling traffic and causing concern for public safety. Buses were re-routed around the accident, and a Medford police officer had to re-direct traffic in the middle of Medford Square while the scene was being cleared. There were no reported injuries. A second truck responded to the scene to transfer fuel from the first.
