Chiefs Open Playoffs With 8-0 Win Over Wakefield

Medford’s Andre Chiefs baseball team opened the playoffs on Friday night with an 8-0 win over the Wakefield Merchants.

The top-seeded team will face the second seed team, the Lexington Blue Sox. The Chiefs will host the game at 8:00PM at Pine Banks in Malden.

The winner will move onto the championship.

The Chiefs have earned their second straight Intercity League Pennant and last won the league in 2012.
