Police Investigating Fatal Bike Crash

A 29-year-old Somerville man was killed on Friday night following a collision with a motorcycle, according to information released by the MA State Police.

The accident happened around 7:30PM on Route 16 at Route 93. The bicyclist was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he later died. The motorcyclist, a 52-year-old man from Topsfield, was also brought to the hospital for treatment of “non-life threatening” injuries, according to state police.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
