Lanzilli Fundraiser a Success

With Election Day less than two weeks away, the Committee to Elect Nick Lanzilli for State Representative held another successful fundraiser at Raso’s Grille in Medford. With nearly 150 supporters coming and going during the event, the support continues to multiply with a wildfire effect.

Lanzilli addressed his crowd with a simple message.

Lanzilli said “While door knocking and discussing the many concerns that residents feel about Beacon Hill, I want to be a legislator available at all times to the constituents of my Medford and Somerville District. To be part of a new direction of open and responsive government for people to hopefully believe in again is a top priority of mine. During these past several months of campaigning, it has been most informative to hear and discuss with residents opinions about providing good educational opportunities, long overdue infrastructure needs, the everyday needs of fire and police, the Green Line Extension to College Avenue and the Green Line Expansion to the Boston Avenue, Rt.16 Medford, Mystic Valley Parkway location. Regarding the Green Line Expansion to the Rt. 16 parkway, location has been a concern to the many residents and business owners to be affected and if executed, I shall advocate for our neighbors and those businesses affected and work to ensure their concerns are mitigated.”

“These, along with various other issues that impact the district, have been continuously expressed throughout the campaign. Knowing that it is important to support the resources necessary that help a community grow and thrive. I believe my responsibility, as your representative, will be to utilize common sense, balance the real needs as compared to those unnecessary at the time, and to engage with community leaders of Medford and Somerville.”

Lanzilli concluded by asking for the continued support of his campaign and resident supporters, who have been outstanding.
