Councilor Raising Funds for Local Charity
|Dear Friends,
Each year as we enter the holiday season we all try to do something extra meaningful to help those in need. This year, my wife Jeanine and I have selected a project that we would like to share with you. In this season of giving instead of having our usual fundraiser, we are asking our supporters to join us in making a donation to Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Please help us reach our goal of raising $7,500 to sponsor the wish of a local wish child.
Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island has a simple, yet profound mission: to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. According to information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 580 children in Massachusetts and Rhode Island are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition each year. Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island is worthy of our support as they received a Four Star Rating (highest) by Charity Navigator. If you would like more information on the work of the organization or know a child who might be eligible for a wish, you can visit their web site at www.massri.wish.org.
If you choose to support our fundraiser, please make your check out to “Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island†and mail to The Camuso Family, 114 Lincoln Rd Medford MA 02155. All donations are tax deductible as the organization is a 501(c)3 organization, with IRS status, and an acknowledgement will be sent to you by Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Their tax exempt number is 222-867-371.
Jeanine and I are very blessed to have a healthy child, but there are children in our community who are very ill and face daily medical challenges. We hope you will join us in supporting this cause and helping us grant a wish that can provide lasting hope that a seriously ill child needs…to keep fighting, dreaming, and striving for the future.
Please feel free to call us at 781-396-7946 with any questions you may have.
Thank you in advance for your consideration; we look forward to sharing with you the story of the child whose wish was made possible through our collective generosity.
Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and joyous holiday season.Â
Paul & Jeanine Camuso
