Parking Enforcement Under New Program to Begin January 15th

According to information released by the city, enforcement of the new parking program will begin this month.

Enforcement of the paid parking in the business districts will begin January 15. The business districts include Medford Square, Haines Square, West Medford Square, South Medford, the Hillside, Playstead Road, and Boston Avenue near Tufts. Payment for spots in these areas now happens through digital kiosks.

Enforcement of residential permit parking will begin January 26. Residential permit areas have not changed under the new parking program.
