Gymnastics Team Wins GBL Title

The Medford High School gymnastics team has earned the Greater Boston League title.

Medford won the league by defeating Malden for the second time on Thursday. The Mustangs haven’t beat Malden since 2010.

Medford is 2-1 with two meets left. On Tuesday, January 20 the Mustangs host Winthrop at 4:30pm and on Friday, January 23 Medford competes against Acton-Boxborough at 6:30pm.

Members of the team include: Dominique Savoia (captain), Courteney DiDomenico (captain), Renee Staude, Alyssa Valentyn, Abby Cline, Montana Heise, Olivia Ross, Camila Ribeiro, Alexandra Dzioba, Erica Lavoie, Victoria Falco, Jillian Valentyn, Brooke Parziale, Sam Alberino, Kiley Mahoney, Alannah Mullen, Victor Ho, Maddie Carvello, and Camila Hollingsworth.
