Porrazzo Earns Hockey Honors

Medford High girls varsity hockey senior captain Adrienne Porrazzo has been named to the Northeastern Hockey Leagues All-Conference team and is the recipient of the league Sportsmanship Award. Porrazzo, a defenseman, scored 9 goals and 10 assists for 19 points for the Mustangs this season.

On Saturday, February 21st Porrazzo was honored at Salem State University before the Northeastern Hockey League’s boys all-star game. Eight players were named to the All-Conference team including Porrazzo, Beverly’s senior defenseman Caitlin McBride (league MVP), sophomore forward McKinley Karpa, junior forward Kristen McCarthy, Winthrop’s senior defenseman Kasey Harris, senior forward Caroline McKinnon, Marblehead’s eighth grade forward Brooke Keough, and Peabody’s sophomore goalie Lauren Hennessy.
