Boys Mustang Hockey Team Advances in State Tourney

On Thursday the Medford High School boys hockey team upset Matignon with a decisive 5-1 win. The Mustangs, seeded twelfth in North Division 1, had been paired with fifth seed Matignon in the first round of the state tournament. Medford now faces fourth seed Andover on Saturday. The puck drops at 6:15PM on Saturday in Woburn. The winner will face either Burlington (first seed) or Arlington Catholic (#8) in the semi-finals on March 5.
