Medford Police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at Citizens Bank on Patriot’s Day.
According to police, the suspect entered the back door of the Citizens Bank on Spring Street around 2PM on Monday afternoon. He displayed what appeared to be a large black revolver to the teller and demanded money from her. He fled to a waiting vehicle outside of the bank.
Police describe the suspect as a thin white male around 5’6″ with baggy clothing. He fled into a 1999 red Jeep Cherokee that was being driven by an older white male.
Police say they later found both the jeep and bag of money deserted near the crime scene. The jeep had New Hampshire plates and was found less than a mile away from the bank on Bradshaw Street near Hunewill Avenue. The bag of money was found on Hunewill Avenue.
