Fire Breaks Out at Medford High; Cause Under Investigation

A small fire broke out at Medford High School early Saturday morning, according to broadcast and published reports.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries, according to The Boston Globe.
Crews responded just after midnight to the school’s auto body shop, which is located at in the vocational school at the front of the building. School Superintendent Roy Belson told The Globe the fire was contained to that area.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. School is expected to resume Monday as scheduled.
