Mustangs Compete in State Tournament

Several Mustang teams have qualified for some post-season action. The girls lacrosse team, 10-10, seeded 12th in North Division 1, unfortunately lost to Beverly (14-4, #5) on Monday afternoon. The boys lacrosse team, #11 with a 14-6 record, head to Andover (13-7, #6) on Tuesday for a 6 PM game. On Friday the softball and baseball teams each host their opponents at 4 PM. The softball team (13-7, #12) will face Beverly (11-9, #21) at Columbus Park while Billerica (13-9, #11) visits the baseball team (14-6, #6) at Playstead Park. Finally, the girls tennis team, the fifth seed with an 8-4 record, host twelfth seed Lincoln-Sudbury (11-8) at 3:30 on Friday.
