City Council to Meet Tuesday, July 21

The next summer meeting of the Medford City Council is taking place on Tuesday, July 21.
The Council is holding a Committee of the Whole meeting at 6:00 PM to hear Roberta Cameron’s presentation about the Community Preservation Act. The meeting is taking place in Room 207 at Medford City Hall.
At 7:00 PM the Council will hold its regular meeting. Items on the agenda include resolutions about the cleanliness of the West Medford Commuter Rail station, zoning for affordable housing, and whether residents received parking tickets on the Fourth of July. Councilor Adam Knight is also asking his colleagues and the administration to hold budget meetings in September, December, and March to monitor the current budget and prepare for the next one.
In addition, Mayor Michael McGlynn is asking the Council to approve a $2.1 million loan order to pay for capital improvements to the city’s sewer system.
