Community Day Fun Facts

Medford held its second annual Community Day on Sunday, September 13 behind the Andrews Middle School at Mystic Riverbend Park.

– There were about 100 informational tables, including many for local candidates running for office

– Attendance is estimated to be around 2,000 people

– There were more than 60 flags representing Medford’s diversity

– More than 25 trucks, from an old MBTA trolley to a SWAT vehicle from the Middlesex Sheriff, were available for people to enjoy in the “touch a truck” display

– The event was Michael McGlynn’s last Community Day as Mayor
