Boys Soccer Team Advances to State Tourney Semi-Finals

The Mustang boys soccer team has advanced to the semi-final round of the state tournament following a win at Malden on Monday night.
The Medford/Malden game was scoreless, resulting in overtime rounds and penalty kicks. Medford won 1-0. The Mustangs won their previous state tournament game against Acton-Boxboro after two overtime periods and eight rounds of penalty kicks.
Medford now faces Brookline in the semi-finals. The game is taking place at Manning Field in Lynn at 6:00 PM on November 11.
The last time the boys soccer team advanced to the semi-final round was in 2011.

It was an ultra excitiang game in which the Medford played with grade and passion. As Jordan Howard’s grandmother, I think that he played amazingly well and am very proud of him.
