City Council to Review Property Tax Rates Tuesday

The Medford City Council will hold a public hearing on property tax rates during their regular meeting on Tuesday, December 8.

Currently, Medford’s residential property tax rate is $11.70, which results in an average tax bill of $4,615.65 for a single-family home. The 2015 commercial, industrial, and person property tax rate is $22.77. The new rate will be set in December and will be in effect as of January 1, 2016.

The Council meeting is taking place in the Council Chambers at Medford City Hall. It begins at 7:00 PM and is broadcast live on local cable.
