School Superintendent Roy Belson made sure Mayor McGlynn didn’t forget to thank his wife, Sheila, for her support during his twenty-eight years in office.
Beth Fuller, a former member of the committee that planned the new schools, brought her old sign and t-shirt to the Mayor’s last School Committee meeting on December 21.
Medford Vocational Technical High School students created a metal sign that says “The McGlynns” with a shamrock and a plaque bearing the McGlynn family crest.
Mary Merrill has worked for McGlynn for nearly forty years, including when he served as a State Representative.
