‘Walk Medford’ Holding Snow Removal Meeting Jan. 19th

WalkMedford is holding a meeting about snow removal before the area is crippled by a major snow storm. The citizen-led group formed last winter partly as a reaction to difficult walking conditions due to poorly cleared sidewalks and crosswalks.

WalkMedford is devoting its January 19 meeting entirely to a discussion about encouraging people to clear sidewalks in front of their property, which is a city law, and how the city can improve snow removal practices and enforcement of the snow shoveling ordinance.

The meeting is taking place on Thursday, January 19 at 7:00 PM at the Medford Public Library.
