Ecumenical Blessing of the Palms Takes Place in Medford Square

On Palm Sunday morning, March 20th, Grace Episcopal Church, St. Francis and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Churches and First Baptist Church gathering in Medford Square for their Annual Blessing of the Palms. The service involved songs from each of the churches, and blessings and prayers from the Reverend Noah H. Evans, Rev. Matt Rasure and Fr. Ed Doughty. Each church then processed back to their respective houses of worship to continue their Palm Sunday celebrations.
