Medford Firefighters Rescue Ducklings from Storm Drain
On Monday morning Medford firefighters performed a good deed by helping a mother duck in need. According to information posted online by Medford Firefighters Local 1032, nine ducklings fell into a storm drain on Ninth Street. Lieutenant Rosie, Firefighter Scull, and Firefighter Lee removed the storm drain cover and rescued the ducklings, who were quickly reunited with their mother and happily waddled away.
