Police Warn Residents About House Break-ins

Medford Police issued a robo-call on Monday afternoon to warn residents about recent house break-ins.
According to police, several house break-ins happened on on Governors Avenue, Sherwood Road, Jeremiah Circle, High Street, and Grove Street. The incidents happened on Friday and Saturday.
The alleged thieves broke in by forcing open the front door or entering through a basement window. Jewelry was stolen in most of the cases, said police.
Police are warning residents to be “vigilant and aware” of “any suspicious people or vehicles in the area.” They encourage residents to contact police at 781-395-1212 if they see anything suspicious.
