Local Kids Enjoy 5th Annual Street Hockey Camp

Last week over twenty Medford children participated in the 5th annual street hockey camp at the outdoor hockey rink at Hormel Stadium as part of the City of Medford’s summer recreation program. Each day the children practiced their hockey skills through games and breakaway contests. The children ranged in age from nine to sixteen.

Medford High girls varsity hockey players Brenna Forbes and Summer Tufts volunteered their time to assist with the camp.

The camp is part of the Medford Summer Recreation program. More information about upcoming recreation camps can be found on the city website.
