City of Medford Extends Tufts Pool Hours for Summer 2016

The 2016 Swim Season at Wrights Pond and Tufts Pool was scheduled to end on August 21st; however Mayor Stephanie M. Burke is pleased to extend the use of Tufts Pool through August 28th.

Beginning August 22nd – August 26th, Tufts Pool will be open from 1p.m.- 8 p.m. And on Saturday August 27th and Sunday August 28th the pool will be open from 1p.m.- 5 p.m. In addition, passes purchased for Wrights Pond will be honored at Tufts Pool through the end of the season.

“I’m extremely thankful for all the hard work and commitment that our summer staff has had throughout the entire season,” said Mayor Stephanie M. Burke. “The City is excited to provide our community additional swim time before heading back to school!. It has been a safe and fun summer for all. I would like to extend a special thank you to the lifeguards, bathhouse attendants, park rangers and supervisors for making this possible.”
