Malden to Showcase Art of Medford, Other Communities in Sept.

The Medford Arts Center Inc. (MACI) comes to Commerce Place Gallery, 350 Main Street, Malden, during the month of September. This extensive member exhibition includes watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, pastels, photography, fiber art, mosaics, ceramics, and more. Art lovers can experience the broad range of creative expression to be found in this up-and-coming local arts community. MACI is a Medford-based 501c3 non-profit organization with almost 60 members, whose main goal is to encourage and support arts and artists in the community.

All members of the public are invited to a free artist reception on September 9th from 7 to 9 pm. Art will be available for sale from the artists, although it will remain on view until the end of the exhibition. Refreshments, beer, and wine will be available.

Show Hours: September 6th to 30th; Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

Official Opening and Reception: Friday, September 9, 7-9 pm.
