September 20, 2016 update: Despite a valiant effort, Ramsay didn’t advance to compete further on Jeopardy!

Medford resident Amy Ramsay will compete on the famed TV trivia show Jeopardy!, according to a media advisory released on behalf of the show.

The program director will be the show on Thursday, September 15, so be sure to tune in and cheer her on!

In June Medford native Laurie MacDougall competed and won for three straight nights on the show. The cancer data specialist racked up $26,700 in prize money on her first night, $25,000 on her second night, and $26,300 on Thursday evening, bringing her three day total to $78,000.

Jeopardy! airs at 7:30 PM on WBZ-TV.
