Mustang Football Team 2-1 Heading into Friday’s Home Game
|The Mustang football team has a winning record heading into Friday night’s home game. Medford’s last victory was at Whittier on Saturday, when quarterback Ben Antoine led his team to a 38-22 win. Antoine rushed for over 200 yards and had five total touchdowns, including a forty-yard touchdown pass to Ritchie Berlus. Sophomore Corey Stinson forced and recovered a fumble that helped put the game away in the last quarter. Anderson Michel also had a few great catches that were key to extending drives.
“[It was] a big win for us,” said Head Coach Jason Nascimento. “[I] loved the way we came out and played together. Hopefully we can keep it going.”
Medford hosts Weston at 7:00 PM on Friday at Hormel Stadium.
