Malden to Host 129th Thanksgiving Football Game with Medford

On Thanksgiving Day the Medford and Malden football teams will meet for the 129th time. Depending on who you ask, it’s the third oldest high school football rivalry in the country. Medford snapped its seven game losing streak with a win two years on Malden’s snow-covered turf (pictured above). Malden leads the series with sixty-three wins to Medford’s fifty-five. There have been ten ties. The historic game is taking place at 10 AM at MacDonald Stadium in Malden.
