Welcome to InsideMedford.com, Medford’s first local news website exclusively dedicated to Medford news! Its goal is to be a central place where residents can get the latest Medford news any time, every day. It’s designed to be interactive so readers can submit comments and stories.
InsideMedford.com was founded in July 2007 by Allison Goldsberry, a local journalist and lifelong Medford resident (4th generation). Allison, a 2003 Tufts grad, has written for the Medford Daily Mercury and spent two years as an Assignment Editor at WBZ-TV.
After being laid off by WBZ in January 2007, Allison spent time learning how to create websites and launched InsideMedford.com. She has worked full-time for the Medford Public Schools since December 2007. Allison is the school district webmaster, oversees the city website, and also teaches web design at Medford High School. She recently earned a Master’s degree in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Posting Comments on Stories
Readers are encouraged to sound off on stories and post comments. Think of this as the web equivalent to a newspaper’s letter to the editor, except there is no limit to the number of comments and comments can appear in a matter of minutes.
